Cookie Policy

The short version: peci.io sets no cookies. We use a privacy-focused analytics tool (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to see how many people visit which pages, but it does not use cookies, and it does not use any other identifier that could recognize you across visits. That is why you do not see a cookie consent banner here.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the peci.io website, operated by Peci Kft., 2119 Pécel, Aradi u. 5, Hungary (company registration Cg. 13-09-089813; VAT HU12761609). Contact: hello@peci.io.
2. What we (don't) use
- Advertising or profiling cookies: none.
- Third-party analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (see section 3 below) -- it does not set cookies or use any other persistent identifier.
- Local storage / session storage for tracking: none.
- Strictly necessary technical cookies: none are set at present. If a future feature requires one (for example a login session), it will be strictly necessary, and this policy will be updated to describe it.
3. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used -- which pages get visited and roughly how the site is performing. It collects:
- Page views: which page was loaded, and when.
- Referring source: the page or site a visitor arrived from, if any.
- Basic performance data: how quickly the page loaded.
No cookie is set. No localStorage or sessionStorage entry is set or read. No persistent identifier is set or read in your browser, so each page view stands on its own -- there is nothing that connects it to a previous or later visit from the same person. Cloudflare aggregates this data for us; we do not see individual visitor behavior.
As with any request to a third party, making this measurement involves a network request to Cloudflare, and the usual technical information that comes with any such request -- including your IP address -- reaches them as part of it. We do not receive or store that information ourselves.
4. Email sign-ups are not cookies
Where you give us your email address (for example for the Revenue Leak Checklist), that is a direct, consent-based data submission, not cookie-based tracking. It is described in our Privacy Notice.
5. Third-party links
Pages we link to (for example the Shopify App Store) set their own cookies under their own policies. We have no control over those.
6. If this changes
If we ever introduce cookies that require consent, we will add a consent banner that asks you first, and update this page with a full list of the cookies, their purpose and their lifetime, before they are set.
Version history
Each version of this page is listed below with the period it was in effect and a copy of the text as it stood. Version numbers for anything before 2026-08-31 were assigned on 2026-08-31, when this register was created, to text states evidenced by the site's source repository — the page did not display those numbers while they were live.
